Inspired by his creative parents, a young Paramus filmmaker practices his craft.
They say the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree and, in Paramus, 9-year-old Ziyad Kasham is proving it. His mother, Swat Kasham, is a photographer, and his father often creates behind-the-scenes videos of her photo shoots. Ziyad, after watching the process, found himself inspired. Armed with a smart phone and his Sonic the Hedgehog plush toys, Ziyad began making and posting his own YouTube videos with his younger brother, Zakai. Mom captured a portrait of his process and posted it to her Instagram, saying, “He records, edits and uploads his videos in record time without being told to keep at it. I can’t wait to see where his YouTube journey takes him.” We can’t either!
