JUNE 2 Cycle for a good cause at Ramsey Auto Group’s annual GO THE DISTANCE FOR AUTISM. Held at Bergen Community College from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., the event welcomes cyclists of all levels on a ride through the county to raise money for NJ schools supporting students with autism. The whole family is welcome as there will be food, music, bouncy houses and rock climbing. Registration is required, admission is FREE and donations are encouraged. JUNE 3 Tee off and raise money for a good cause at the annual VALLEY AUXILIARY GOLF OUTING AND DINNER at the Ridgewood Country Club in Paramus. A buffet lunch will be available at 11 a.m., followed by golf at 12:30 p.m. Cocktails will be served at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner and awards. Tickets: $850 per golfer, $200 for cocktails and dinner only. Funds raised will benefit the pediatric emergency department at The Valley Hospital and the Endowment for Butterflies. JUNE 6 Are you an interior designer or architect—or a homeowner looking for inspiration as you redo your kitchen? Dine among other Bergen County design gurus at a SUMMER DINNER PARTY hosted at the Modiani Kitchens showroom in Englewood. The evening will include dinner prepared by a private chef, a cooking demonstration and live classical music by NYC’s “The String Ensemble.” The evening begins at 6 p.m. Registration is required but admission is FREE! JUNE 9 Bring out your crafty side at the MONTVALE STREET FESTIVAL AND CRAFT SHOW. Paragon Drive in Montvale will be turned into a giant street fair and include something for each member of the family: music, gourmet food trucks and outdoor shopping, plus pony rides, a petting zoo and face painting for  the little ones. The fun starts at 10 a.m. and runs until 5 p.m. Admission is FREE. Email events@ jcpromotions.info for more information.

JUNE 10 Make music with your toddler and some BergenPAC instructors at the MOMMY, DADDY AND ME PRE-K SERIES at The Outlets at Bergen Town Center in Paramus. There will be two 30-minute sessions from 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. in which participants will make music as a family. This is recommended ages 1 to 4 years, and admission is FREE. JUNE 11 Enjoy tons of activities and give back to a good cause at the annual PLAY FOR PINK fundraising event at Montammy Country Club in Alpine. From 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., enjoy breakfast and play golf, tennis and card games like bridge and Mah Jong. Yoga classes and raffles are also available, and all proceeds go toward breast cancer research. JUNE 15 Work up a sweat at the 37th annual WYCKOFF/FRANKLIN LAKES TRIATHLON. The race begins at 6:45 a.m. and will include a half-mile swim, 17-mile bike ride and 5-mile run…phew! Registration ends on June 10 and includes a race fee of $115 plus a $7.65 sign-up fee. Don’t want to race alone? No sweat. Register for the relay and get some friends involved too. JUNE 17 This is 2019—you don’t need a real camera to take amazing pictures. Learn how to snap professional-quality photos on your phone with the BEST PRACTICES FOR SMARTPHONE PHOTOGRAPHY event at Mahwah Public Library from 7 to 8:15 p.m. Steffen Kaplan, a former photo editor at The New York Times, will show guests which apps to use to take great pictures and how best to display them on social media. JUNE 19 The Ethical Culture Society of Bergen County welcomes seniors to join in their practice of guided meditation, breathing techniques, Hatha yoga and poetry for their CONTEMPLATIVE HUMANISM GROUP from 7:30 to 9 p.m. The event takes place at their meeting place at 687 Larch Ave. in Teaneck. JUNE 22–23 NBC 4 New York and Telemundo 47 invite you to one of the biggest health and fitness events in the tri-state area, the seventh annual HEALTH & FITNESS EXPO at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Activities include free health screenings, meet-and-greets with the network’s reporters and a tour of the New York Giants locker rooms. JUNE 23 Everyone from age 5 to 95 can get in some exercise and give back at the Jewish Family & Children’s Services of Northern New Jersey’s WHEELS FOR MEALS RIDE TO FIGHT HUNGER. Serious bike riders can do 25 or 50 mile rides, while novices and kids can trek the 3 or 10 mile paths. The race starts and finishes at Temple Emanu-El in 
Closter, and all proceeds go toward Wheels for Meals. Admission prices vary—find out more at ridetofighthunger.com.

JUNE 28 Sing along with Rock & Roll Hall of Famer and former Kiss member ACE FREHLEY as he performs songs from his new album Spaceman as well as his classics at Bergen Performing Arts Center in Englewood. The concert starts at 8 p.m. and includes special guest Ryder. Tickets range in price from $29 to $59 and can be purchased at bergenpac.org/events.  

JUNE 30 Artists, crafters, food trucks and more will convene for the GLEN ROCK STREET FAIR & CRAFT SHOW from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in downtown Glen Rock. Enjoy yummy eats, live music, rides, a petting zoo, a martial arts exhibition and more for a jam-packed day of family fun. Admission is FREE. Get more info at streetfairs.org.
