A new beer hotspot is a-brewin’. Ridgefield Park-based brewer Bolero Snort officially began construction—or at least demolition—at its newest location in Carlstadt about five months after purchasing the 17,000-square-foot property. It’s a big deal for owner Bob Olson and his three partners, who since 2013 have been producing their drafts using other companies’ facilities. The brewery will house a tasting room, featuring 16 taps pouring made-on-site suds. You have till spring or summer 2019, when the brewery opens for business, to work up a thirst. “It was exciting when Brix City (Little Ferry) and Alementary (Hackensack) opened a couple of years ago,” says Renato Villegas of Teaneck. “The craft beer business sure is brewing in Bergen!
