American Dream has reopened its doors with new experiences like Angry Birds Not So Mini Golf, first of its kind Dreamworks Water Park, and Nickelodeon Universe and the opening of many fan favorite flagship retailers.

Celebrating health care heroes

Each month American Dream hosts some special experiences. One of these experiences, taking place in October and November, celebrates our local health care heroes. American Dream is giving away a FREE ticket to the Nickelodeon Universe for health care workers through November 12. Details here: 

Nickelodeon Universe at American Dream was voted one of the best new amusement park attractions in USA TODAY 10 Best Readers Choice Awards! At Nickelodeon Universe, The Shredder, The Shellraiser, and Nickelodeon’s Skyline Scream have come to life with the opening of the Western Hemisphere’s largest indoor theme park. The park features over 35 rides, rollercoasters, and attractions for families and thrill-seekers, both young and young at heart. SpongeBob, Dora The Explorer, and all your Nickelodeon BFFs are waiting to welcome you. Enjoy miles of smiles, jaw-dropping moments, gallons of slime and live entertainment on the Nickelodeon Slime Stage.

On Saturday, October 24, American Dream is hosting a Master Lego building experience from 12pm to 5pm. Final applicants will participate in a LEGO build-off–a series of fast paced, time-limited challenges. The winner will be offered the master model builder position on site.

Thorough safety measures in place

American Dream has a thorough COVID-19 health & safety plan in place for all visitors that follows guidelines from state and local government agencies, as well as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and was built in partnership with Hackensack Meridian Health.

A few things guests can expect upon their return to American Dream include:

  • Face coverings required for entry into American Dream
  • Reduced capacities throughout American Dream and within each of the open attractions
  • Increased sanitizing and disinfecting throughout American Dream common areas and attractions
  • Hand sanitizer stations and hygiene reminders installed throughout American Dream and within attractions
  • Physical distancing guidance, including ground markings, plexiglass barriers, touchless programming and more

As each of the attractions will be operating at reduced capacities, guests are strongly encouraged to book their experiences in advance of their visit at–tickets are available for purchase today.
