Dr. Christensen earned his bachelor’s degree from Siena College before completing his Doctor of Dental Medicine at UMDNJ, now Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. He completed a General Practice Residency at Hackensack University Medical Center and has been practicing since 1998, joining the practice in 2003. Early in his career, he served as an associate team dentist for the New York Giants, New Jersey Devils, and New Jersey Nets. With a long-standing interest in computers and design, Dr. Christensen became an early adopter of digital dentistry and now lectures nationally, teaching fellow dentists how CAD design and 3D printing can improve efficiency and outcomes.
Dr. Burke joined Christensen Dental Associates in 2019, bringing advanced prosthodontic training and a keen eye for detail. He earned his bachelor’s degree from St. Peter’s College, followed by his DDS, Certificate of Premedical Science, and Master of Science in Prosthodontics from Columbia University. His expertise allows the practice to provide comprehensive, in-house care that often reduces the need for outside referrals.
A defining feature of the practice is its focus on digital dentistry and in-house 3D manufacturing. With advanced scanners, milling machines, and 3D printers on site, many restorations can be designed and created the same day, saving patients time and cost.
