This Maywood dad is the assistant coach of his daughter’s softball team, where the girls learn more than just how to play the game.

Sometimes, team sports aren’t just about the sport, but rather about being part of a team—and spending some quality time with dear ol’ dad. JB Allard of Maywood is the assistant coach of his daughter Zoey’s first- and second-grade softball team, at which he snapped this picture on opening day a few weeks ago. “Zoey loves being part of a team and realizing that her effort contributes to a bigger effort,” Allard tells BERGEN.
