We typically associate the season of giving with November and December holidays, but so many charities and nonprofit organizations are hoping for your generosity now. These groups depend on fall fundraisers to help them continue their missions, whether their goals are to raise awareness for cancer research, combat food insecurity, care for shelter animals and much more.

While contributing to the cause is the goal, we love that these charity events often provide donors with excitement as well. This season in Bergen County, there’s a variety of fundraisers where attendees can enjoy dinner, listen to music, share a few laughs and even burn some calories. Below is a sampling of events that put the “fun” in fundraiser and are worth checking out; click on each for start times, sponsorship opportunities and more details.
