Dr. John Minichetti, a highly respected figure in dentistry, has dedicated over 35 years to practicing and teaching implant dentistry, delivering outstanding care to his patients, and advancing the field through education and innovation.
Dr. Minichetti graduated first in his class from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, now Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, earning accolades in oral surgery and medicine, periodontics, and pharmacology. He further honed his expertise by completing an advanced General Practice Residency program at Mount Sinai Medical Center where he received speciality training in oral surgery and anesthesia. These achievements laid the foundation for his exemplary career.
Dr. Minichetti is board-certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry and holds fellowships in prestigious organizations such as the International Congress of Oral Implantology, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. His accolades include numerous scientific publications, textbook chapters, and top awards in dental medicine, underscoring his expertise and leadership in the field.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Minichetti has served as a leader in multiple professional organizations. He is a past president of both the AAID and the ABOI and currently serves as the Chief of the Department of Dentistry at Englewood Hospital. Dr. Minichetti is also the Director of the Englewood Hospital GPR Program, where he trains the next generation of dental professionals. With a state-of-the-art facility established in 1998 the practice offers a full range of services, including oral surgery, cosmetic dentistry, and advanced reconstructive treatments.
