We’re well into the third week of Hispanic Heritage Month, and celebrations are going strong—particularly in our county, where more than 200,000 residents claim Hispanic backgrounds. All Bergen residents, for instance, can bring their little ones (ages 2 to 5 years old) to the Paramus Library on Saturday, Oct. 4 and soak up the culture at Spanish Storytime.

How else can you participate in Hispanic Heritage Month, which runs until Oct. 15? You can try our favorite way: feasting on delicious food. Bergen has no shortage of great restaurants specializing in Hispanic cuisine, from street-style tacos to savory arepas to zesty ceviche and much more.
