12 Events To Beat Cabin Fever
Feeling the winter woes? These family-friendly activities will get you excited and out of the house.

Mother Nature continues to surprise with late-season snow, but if you’re like us, the winter thaw and the promise of spring are already on our minds. The arrival of March in Bergen County is the perfect moment to shake off cabin fever and step back out together.
Whether you’re leaning into the last of the winter fun or ready to welcome the season ahead, this weekend is full of family-friendly events designed to get everyone smiling. From cozy indoor activities to fresh-air outings (boots are still recommended!), there’s plenty happening in our area to make the most of this in-between season.

In the event of rain or clouds, the session will be canceled.
- Enjoy a 1980s-themed murder mystery dinner fundraiser from 7 to 11 p.m. at Sanzari’s New Bridge Inn in New Milford. Proceeds will benefit New Milford High School, including scholarships, instructional material, educational speakers and more. Purchase tickets online.
- The sounds of Brahms and Mozart will fill the River Dell Middle School auditorium when the Adelphi Orchestra performs at 7:30 p.m. The “Grace & Elegance” concert will include Lanny Paykin on cello, Kathleen Butler-Hopkins on violin and Francesca Silos on viola.

The Friday show starts at 8 p.m., and Saturday shows are at 2 and 8 p.m. Check out Bergen County Players online for tickets.
Feb. 27–March 1
- Witness the spectacular at Circus Vazquez, which is holding seven shows this weekend at Garden State Plaza in Paramus.
