Northern Highlands Regional High School in Allendale is taking community health to another level, opening its fitness center to all its neighbors—not just students. Residents of Allendale, Ho-Ho-Kus, Saddle River and Upper Saddle River may take advantage of the facility’s amenities, which include a full selection of free weights, strength-training machines and cardiovascular equipment.

The center is open to residents of the four towns free of charge between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Students and children are not eligible to use the gym during those hours. All participants will be asked to complete a release form before using the fitness center. Download the form at www.northernhighlands.org.
