AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION

The Shannon Rose Irish Pub, with locations in Ramsey and Clifton, donated $10,000 to the American Heart Association to support the organization’s research and efforts to fight for public health policies. The pub raised money through a special menu served during American Heart Month and participation in the recent Bergen Passaic Heart Walk.

VALLEY BALL

The Valley Hospital Auxiliary hosted its annual Valley Ball at The Legacy Castle in Pompton Plains. More than 300 guests enjoyed dinner and dancing while raising money to support the auxiliary’s $1.5 million pledge to Ridgewood-based Valley Hospital. 

FOUNDERS BALL

Holy Name Medical Center held its annual Founders Ball at the Ziegfeld Ballroom in Manhattan. The center honored Carmen Unanue and the C&J Unanue Foundation for their contributions to the Teaneck hospital and Saddle River-based Villa Marie Claire.

FASHION SHOW FUNDRAISER

Immaculate Heart Academy in Township of Washington held its annual Fashions of the Heart fundraiser at The Estate at Florentine Gardens in River Vale. Attendees were treated to a fashion show, with wardrobes provided by local vendors, as well as lunch and tricky tray raffles.

GRAND OPENING

To the celebrate the grand opening of its newest store, ShopRite of Wyckoff, Inserra Supermarkets and ShopRite Partners in Caring held a ribbon-cutting ceremony and donated $10,000 to the Community FoodBank of New Jersey.
