Girl Scout’s Honor
A Brownie troop member from Fair Lawn spent her Memorial Day honoring those who served our country.

For some people, Memorial Day is a day off from work, but for others, it’s a meaningful day of service. Among those in the latter camp is Marisela Fernandez of Fair Lawn, who, along with her 8-year-old daughter, Milah, volunteered to place flags at the Fair Lawn Memorial Cemetery to honor those who died serving our country. Milah also walked the Fair Lawn Memorial Day parade with her Brownies Troop 97988, and mom documented the entire day on Instagram. Good work, girls!
