Our furry friends always know what’s wrong, and a good boy always knows how to fix it.

The McCullough family recently made a cross-country move from Texas to Ho-Ho-Kus, and father Brian notes this move was particularly difficult on their daughter, Emelee. Getting used to not only a new state, but a brand-new school, was wearing on her. But family dog Tucker always rushed to the rescue. “Whenever she comes home from school, Tucker is always there to comfort her and bring a smile,” McCullough says. He was able to catch one such moment in this picture, sharing it with the caption, “Goldens are the best.” We agree!
