House Tour de Force
A local women’s club raises big bucks for charity with its annual fundraiser

After a rainy week, The Woman’s Club of Ridgewood struck gold with a beautiful sunny day on May 10 for its 15th spring house tour. Hundreds of participants happily wandered in and out of six gorgeous homes in Ridgewood, raising $36,000 for local charities, including Children’s Aid and Family Services, Baby Basics and Camp Sunshine.
My favorite house on the tour was 203 Heights Road. The home was built in 1898, giving it that old-home charm, but it has been extensively renovated over the years and now boasts every modern luxury one could want. The new kitchen, designed by Jeannie Fulton of Ulrich, was stunning, as was the basement theater room, complete with floor-to-ceiling screen, comfy seats and candy bar. It was hard for me to leave this house! Check out some of my photos below.
Kudos to club president Andrea Falco and house tour co-chairs Kristen Plumley, Tricia Mueller and Jennifer Edelson on a job well done! The club is actively recruiting new members and is open to all women ages 21 and up who live within a 19-mile radius of Ridgewood.
