Cherished memories are made for a Glen Rock family on Take Your Kids to Work Day.
Much has changed in the 30+ years of Take Our Daughters and Sons To Work Day, which many companies today turn the annual event into a day for fun and a way to impress kids. To Glen Rock’s Iryna Shcherbakov, it’s more than just that—it’s a day for children to see what their parents actually do at work. She posted this photo of her husband, Konstyantyn, and their daughter, Anya, who accompanied him to his New York City office last week. She notes that the day “offers a cherished opportunity for children to spend a special day with a parent who may not always have as much time with them at home as other caretakers do.” She adds, “These experiences will undoubtedly leave lasting memories.” Cherished memories indeed!
