A great navigator he is not, but this Fair Lawn kitten sure is cute!
He may not be as reliable as Google Maps, but Charlie, a 5-month-old domestic shorthair, more than makes up for it in an equally important way—snuggles! Perched on the shoulders of his human, Maria Morales of Fair Lawn, the kitty watches the world go by as she drives her car through Bergen. The fluffy, soft lining of her jacket made the perfect seat for Charlie. As an added bonus, he got to be warm and close to his “mom.” “We found Charlie on the streets when he was only about four weeks old, in a super bad shape. Because of that, I got into the habit of taking him everywhere,” says Morales. “He comes to work with me every day, and he’s always on my shoulder when we’re driving there. He loves it very much.”
