In her career spanning over three decades, Laura Sutnick has represented thousands of individuals and litigated many high-profile cases. She began her legal career as an assistant district attorney in Brooklyn, New York. After moving to Bergen County with her family, Laura opened her own criminal defense practice. Her husband Warren, also a former prosecutor, later joined her firm. Laura is certified by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a Criminal Trial Attorney, a distinction held by only about two percent of licensed New Jersey attorneys.

Laura will be sworn in as the 126th President of the Bergen County Bar Association in April 2024. This organization is one of New Jersey’s largest county bar associations with over 1,300 members. She has been a dedicated volunteer for the Bar Association for over 25 years. Laura is also an Adjunct Professor at Seton Hall Law School. She is often quoted in the Bergen Record and has appeared in the press as a legal analyst on CourtTV and Telemundo.
