Dr. Michael Klotz Loves Being A Dentist. After earning his Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree (D.M.D) at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Dr. Klotz went on to study Prosthodontics, the dental specialty of implant, aesthetic and reconstructive dentistry. He was accepted into a competitive three-year residency program in Prosthodontics at the University of Connecticut Health Center. During his post-graduate training, he obtained a Master’s Degree in Dental Science (M.Dent.Sc), concentrating his research on the bio-mechanics of dental implants. Dr. Klotz continued his education with a fellowship in Maxillofacial Prosthetics at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Here, he cared for the complex needs of patients with head and neck cancer. While at MSKCC, he completed board certification in Prosthodontics, the most demanding and highest honor in the specialty.
Using his advanced training, Dr. Klotz continuously strives for the highest level of patient care and satisfaction. “I chose Prosthodontics as a way to help my patients with difficult dental issues as well as satisfy my passion for aesthetic and implant dentistry,” says Dr. Klotz. “My goal is to deliver extremely natural and high-quality dentistry both comfortably and efficiently.”
Dr. Klotz and his team pride themselves on diligence and integrity, giving patients all of their options. An in-house laboratory allows Dr. Klotz to offer the highest standard in dental restorations, fabricated in a timely fashion. While his office specializes in Prosthodontics, they also take care of the general needs of all patients young and old. “We treat all our patients like our own family members and take care of any of their dental needs in a thorough yet easy-going atmosphere.”
Dr. Klotz has published in peer-reviewed dental journals and has lectured nationally on various topics in Prosthodontics and Implant dentistry. His greatest reward is completing life-changing dentistry and creating long-lasting relationships with his patients.
