If you haven’t heard of Kidville, the name describes it perfectly. This up-and-coming franchise is home to nearly everything a kid could want: an indoor playground, a music room, an arts and crafts studio, a boutique selling kids’ toys and fashion and a kids’ hair salon—and equally important, what a parent could want: a safe and fun environment for youngsters to learn and play.

The Englewood location on Grand Avenue is holding a special Mother’s Day event on Sunday, May 13, 2012 from 9 to 11 a.m. Dads, bring the kids for a morning gym session and a craft they can bring home to the woman of the day. (The event is geared toward children up to 6 years old.)

Admission is free, but attendees are asked to contribute a $5 donation per family that will go to Dress for Success (Hudson County), an organization that promotes the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and career development tools.

Spots are limited, so register in advance by sending your name, number of children, a phone number and e-mail address to rsvp.englewood@kidville.com or call 201.266.0633.
