Not Just The King Of The Jungle
This adventurous cat from Teaneck is exploring the world.
You might do a double take if you saw Aori Nevo walking down the street. At the end of the leash he’s holding isn’t a small dog—it’s his Maine Coon cat, Kai. The harness-trained kitten (yes, Kai is still a kitten) is globetrotting, as Nevo takes him along on trips both near and far. On a bright day in March, however, the duo was much closer to home. They visited Memorial Park in Van Neste Square in Ridgewood to keep up with Kai’s harness training and to meet up with doggy friend Wilson, a mini schnauzer. While Kai relaxed on the dashboard of his owner’s car, Nevo snapped this picture and captioned it “Dashboard lounging,” adding an emoji of a lion. That’s certainly what Kai looks like—king of the jungle, indeed! Nevo adds, “When we’re driving, he’s right by me on the center console. We enjoy the journey together.”
