“The background of this space should be light and airy, so as not to overwhelm the stronger elements like the daybed and rug,” says Pavarini. For the walls, he suggests a clean, neutral white such as Benjamin Moore’s OC-65 Chantilly Lace (left) in Regal Matte finish. The same hue in a Satin finish can be used for the doors and casework.
