Nelson the French bulldog celebrates summer with a splash. These are the dog days, after all!
Bigger breeds like retrievers and shepherds are strong swimmers and natural water dogs, but don’t tell that to Nelson, a 3-year-old French bulldog. Any chance he gets, Nelson and his three canine brothers (Winston, Louis and Gus) take a dip in their backyard pool, says “mom” Nicole Kuhn of Hackensack. “Nelson is our water-obsessed Frenchie,” she reports. “He would swim all day, everyday if we let him, and he always knows when it’s swim time.” Kuhn posted this video of Nelson showing perfect form of his doggie dive into the water. “I love sharing any of Nelson’s pool videos because it’s not typical seeing Frenchies swim, let alone jump. His pure joy just needed to be shared.” We agree!
