You might recognize Mountain Creek from its waterpark counterpart, a popular summertime destination. But the resort also features one of the largest ski areas in the state, with over 1,000 snowmaking machines that cover the mountain all season long. Did you know Macy’s opened Warwick’s Mount Peter Ski Area in 1936 to show off its winter fashions? Now it’s a family-friendly destination offering free beginner ski/ snowboard lessons on weekends and a ton of fun trails.
