Grab a group of friends or co-workers and head to one of Bergen County’s karaoke hot spots. Your local watering hole likely hosts special karaoke nights, but here are some of our favorite joints dedicated to singing:

Volume Up Karaoke, 880 River Rd., Edgewater, 201.945.3322: Bring your own drinks to this joint, which is a stone’s throw from the river and has an up-to-date song selection. “I love that it’s so clean—a surprise for a BYOB joint,” says Darius Amos, associate editor of BERGEN.

Rodeo Karaoke, 225 Broad Ave., Palisades Park, 201.585.0024: A full service bar and songs in various languages attract a diverse crowd.

Sing Out, 15 Grand Ave., Palisades Park, 201.313.1158: Singers can let loose in large and clean rooms.

Gagopa Music Corporation, 2011 Lemoine Ave., Fort Lee, 201.585.2121: Song choices range from classics to modern-day hits. Rooms here are plentiful and spacious, and some come equipped with tambourines to add to the sing-along fun!
