Sure, songs sung by Bing Crosby or Mariah Carey can foster a festive spirit, but nothing moves us more than traditional Christmas carols. In the spirit of the season, Wood-Ridge resident Albert Aprigliano has been sharing his renditions with the world. A Juilliard-trained pianist (he began studying there at the age of 10 and went on to earn both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in music), Aprigliano now uploads videos of his talents to social media, including this version of “Joy to the World.” “The song just came to me that day, so I worked up an arrangement and uploaded it,” he says, adding, “I love the holiday season.” Of the reaction to his videos, he says, “I find that many people, even young people, to my delight, appreciate my style.”
