The brick custom Motown Mansion—so-called because it was built for the onetime president of Motown Records Kedar Massenburg—recently enjoyed its two minutes and 11 seconds of fame, starring in a segment of CBS’ Living Large!
In the segment, which aired Feb. 23, CBS reporter Emily Smith is treated to a walk-through of the Saddle River home, which at one time or another has played host to such entertainers as Stevie Wonder and Mariah Carey.
The home’s second owner modernized the 8-year-old manor, and it has returned to the market at an asking price of $6.895 million. It features five bedrooms, six full and two half baths, double bridal staircase, five fireplaces, and an eightcar garage, for starters. Handling the listing are Michael A. Randy and Elizabeth Tarta Boggia, sales associates, Prominent Properties Sotheby’s International Realty, Saddle River.
