Coming from a third-generation family in the building and real estate development business, Stephen is deeply familiar with the industry. What was completely unfamiliar to him, however, was relocating to New Jersey and forging his own path.

After business school where he majored in business management with a concentration in statistics, Stephen joined a venture capital firm working with start-ups. Real estate always remained his priority and when a project brought him to New Jersey, he made the decision to fully embrace his calling. With no connections in the state, his choice wasn’t an easy one, but Stephen’s drive to achieve success in the real estate profession never wavered.

Stephen eventually joined Christie’s and, in 2010, formed his own team with just one member. Today, his team of 20 follows a unique approach, conducting customized fact-finding sessions that delve into specific client goals to craft tailored strategies that continually exceed client expectations. Specializing in luxury residential and investment properties in Bergen County and the suburbs of New York City, Stephen’s savvy buyers, sellers and investors value his strong business background and highly analytical, data-driven approach. Stephen recognizes that life and client relationships are inherently connected, and his natural ability to read people enables him to build authentic, lasting connections and enduring friendships.

By investing time and financial resources into each team member and providing them with leads and appointments, the Braconi Team continues to grow and succeed. When looking to add a new member, kindness is at the top of the list. After all, he can teach anyone the tricks of the trade, but compassion has to come from within. Recognized for his charity work and the power of giving, Stephen is the recipient of the Franklin Lakes Mayor’s Volunteer Award. He volunteers at the Bergen County SPCA making a direct impact on the lives of animals. A BJJ Black Belt and a Pan American Games gold medal champion, Stephen dedicates time to teaching kids the art of self defense helping them build confidence and self esteem.
