The malls you love are getting even better. Here’s the latest:
Westfield Garden State Plaza will welcome five new luxury stores to its Premium Fashion District wing: Burberry, Ferragamo, Hugo Boss, Longchamp and Versace. They’re all scheduled to open toward year’s end, just in time for holiday shopping. The mall is also adding Michael Kors Men, a new-to-the-market Timberland concept, The North Face and several restaurants. (See our mini-review of Yo! Sushi at left.)
The former Saks Fifth Avenue building at The Shops at Riverside in Hackensack will add an AMC movie theater and a restaurant, Pinstripes, that combines New American-Italian cuisine with bowling and bocce. (It’s Jersey’s first Pinstripes.) The theater will feature a MacGuffins bar and lounge and a Marketplace snack bar. Construction is expected to begin this summer with a late-2016 opening date.
Paramus Park received final approval for an 88,000-square-foot expansion, including the addition of a 13-screen movie theater and restaurants, more than a year ago. But construction hasn’t yet begun, and a groundbreaking date hasn’t been set.
