Young Artists At Work
With a little help from their creative mother, two budding painters produce a backyard masterpiece.
School’s back in session, but art lessons are held outdoors—for now—at Lindsay Otte’s Saddle Brook home. On a recent September afternoon, she set up a backyard “canvas” for her two children, 3-year-old Ty and 2-year-old Maddox, who created a colorful masterpiece. She posted this video of the young artists at work as they painted (and got a little dirty). “I’ve always had an image in my head, as long as I can remember, of someday creating artwork with my kids,” Otte says. “I finally decided it was time to include them—and get a little messy! We had a blast making this painting, and we will definitely be continuing with our creative activities this fall.” We can’t wait to see more of their work!
