Spring has officially sprung in Bergen County, and you can feel it everywhere—from longer, sunnier afternoons to that first hint of blooms popping up around town. It’s the perfect time to get outside, shake off the chill and make some fresh family memories.

We’ve rounded up some of the best events to help you make the most of this early spring weekend. So gather the crew and get ready to explore all the fun Bergen County has to offer—because this season is all about new beginnings, and there’s no better way to celebrate than together.

March 27

  • Raise a glass to spring during a Wine and Bourbon Tasting at The Hermitage in Ho-Ho-Kus. In addition to wine and bourbon from Carlo Russo’s Wine and Spirits, the fundraiser will include appetizers and a silent auction. The festivities start at 7 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at The Hermitage’s website.
  • If you love Mick and Keith, check out Classic Stones Live: The Greatest Rock and Roll Tribute in the World at Fort Lee’s Barrymore Film Center. Classic Stones will perform all the songs that are staples of any Rolling Stones show. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m., and tickets are available online.

March 27–29

  • Experience Asian food, culture and entertainment at the Dream Asia Food Festival. Head to American Dream in East Rutherford and enjoy family-fun activities and games, cuisine, performances, contests and much more. Friday hours are 4 to 10 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday hours are 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Laugh with funnyman Joe Machi, who performs four shows over three nights at Rutherford’s Bananas Comedy Club. Machi’s been seen on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and CBC’s Just For Laughs Gala and is a staple on the New York comedy club circuit.

March 28

  • Bring the little ones to Abma’s Farm in Wyckoff for Storytime with the Easter Bunny. The 9 a.m. session is geared for ages 3 and older and will feature an interactive Easter tale with songs and puppets, in addition to photo ops with the Easter Bunny. Tickets can be purchased online.
  • Enjoy Breakfast with the Easter Bunny at Paramus’ Stew Leonard’s from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Paid admission to the event includes a buffet-style selection of breakfast treats prepared by Stew Leonard’s chefs and a chance to meet the Easter Bunny. Tickets are limited, so reserve yours now.
  • Take a break from shopping and stop by Bergen Town Center’s Center Court for the Candy Twisted Balloon Show. Programs are offered at 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., featuring magic tricks and comedy that will entertain all ages.

March 28–29

  • The annual EGGstravaganza returns to the Bergen County Zoo in Paramus from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. This family-friendly event has treat and Easter egg stations throughout the zoo, a meet-and-greet with the Easter Bunny, photo ops and opportunities to ride the carousel and train. Tickets and info are available online.
  • For great vibes, breakfast food and holiday spirit, head to Booyah! in Mahwah for its Brunch and Easter Egg Hunt. Relax and eat with family and friends while the kids search for colorful eggs. The festivities are from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on both days. Sign up online.

March 29

  • Ease into the day with a guided Mindful Morning Walk at the Tenafly Nature Center. Starting at 9:30 a.m., guests can take a peaceful, guided walk through the woods that is designed to help people unwind, breathe deeply and connect with nature. Sign up on the TNC website.
