BOARD CERTIFIED by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, Dr. Edward Nieuwenhuis, Jr. has 26 years of experience in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery as well as treatment of all aspects of foot care, including the diabetic foot.

During his residency at Illinois Masonic Medical Center, Dr. Nieuwenhuis helped establish one of the premier residency training facilities for podiatric foot and ankle surgeons in the country. 

Awarded Top Doctor in New Jersey multiple times, Dr. Nieuwenhuis is the Section Director of Podiatric Surgery at The Valley Hospital and an active staff member at Surgicare of Ridgewood. He is active in his community and regularly participates in medical mission trips with Healing the Children.
