PEOPLE STILL REMEMBER JEANA COWIE as the kid who sold her father’s juicy tomatoes on the main road of her house in Paramus. It’s safe to say that’s when Jeana’s thriving career in sales actually began. Today Jeana prides herself on selling over 800 homes, with 300+ alone in Paramus.
A life-long Bergen County resident, Jeana has dedicated her profession to helping others find a home in the community that is dear to her heart. Fascinated by real estate, she became licensed at 24, a passion that has taken her to the Top 1% of all RE/MAX NJ realtors. By enhancing her knowledge through elite designations including a Broker’s license, Jeana is a force to be reckoned with in the industry. Understanding how to effectively price a home, her listings receive multiple offers and sell for top dollar. Through Jeana’s astute knowledge and solid reputation, buyers are educated on market values often winning bidding wars.
Jeana’s guiding principles and ethical values naturally put clients first. When her close friend’s brother was looking for a house to accommodate his son with cerebral palsy, Jeana wrote a personal letter to a seller whose Hillsdale home fit the bill. The heartfelt letter had such appeal, the seller declined bids over asking price and sold the house for $10,000 less to Jeana’s client. “This endeavor proves that going the extra mile is the only way to do business,” says Jeana.
On several occasions, Jeana has represented clients up to 10 times, some even becoming personal friends and a true testament to her trust. Jeana further champions the community through charitable giving. Since 2009, she has been involved with the DMCCF, a charity that helps those who are battling cancer. For 10 years, she was a volunteer with the WCA in Waldwick. Jeana is the recipient of the Prestigious RE/MAX “Hall of Fame” & “Lifetime Achievement” Award.” After only one year in the business, she’s been a constant member of the NJ Circle of Excellence.
