The Face of Auto Repair: Peter Soviero

As a teenager, Peter Soviero embraced his passion for cars, learning automotive basics in the high school’s auto mechanics program. At 19, Soviero opened his own shop in Little Silver, eventually relocating to his dream spot. “Red Bank was an opportunity of a lifetime,” says Soviero. “When I look back at what I had when I started in 1976 and what I’ve accomplished to today it brings a huge smile to my face.” Today, Soviero owns one of the largest independent automotive repair facilities in Monmouth County, employing 10 ASE-certified technicians with a combined experience of over 300 years in the industry. “We provide dealer-quality service at a fraction of the cost over the dealerships,” says Soviero, and that’s why Mayo is known as “Your Dealer Alternative.”
