Tuxedo Club's 19th Annual Golf Outing Honoring Lawrence R. Inserra

The Mahwah Regional Chamber of Commerce is hosting the Tuxedo Club’s 19th Annual Golf Outing on September 13. The event will honor Lawrence R. Inserra, Jr., president of Inserra Supermarkets, Inc., which operates Shop Rites throughout New York and New Jersey.

The Mahwah Regional Chamber of Commerce is hosting the Tuxedo Club’s 19th Annual Golf Outing on September 13. The event will honor Lawrence R. Inserra, Jr., president of Inserra Supermarkets, Inc., which operates Shop Rites throughout New York and New Jersey.

Larry lends his time and guidance to a number of other community organizations in addition to maintaining his family business. He is a member of Wakefern Food Corporation, the Greater Alliance Federal Credit Union, the Commerce Industry Association of NJ, the Hackensack University Medical Center, the Hackensack Economic Development Commission, Mahwah Education Foundation, the Community Resource Council, and the Community Blood Services Foundation.

Golfers of any level are welcome to participate in the event. Competitive golfers may sign up as individuals or as groups. Casual golfers will play a best-ball format. The event starts at 9 am and the schedule includes a putting contest and chipping contest where everyone gets a chance to win. Breakfast will be provided at the golf house terrace and a convenient lunch will be served on the course. After the day of golfing, head over to The Clubhouse on the Lake for cocktails, dinner, and awards ceremony. Jackets requested.

The Tuxedo Club, in the Ramapo Mountains, is a private member-owned country club. Along with scenic views are private locker rooms and a championship course equipped with island greens and water hazards.
